Trade Center Safety

The most common way MM2 traders lose their items is not a bad trade — it is a link. A "private server link", a "value checker" or a "free Robux" page that steals your Roblox login cookie. The RBLXValue Trade Center is built so that you never have to click a link from another trader.

The problem: cookie loggers

When you are logged in, Roblox keeps you signed in with a cookie called .ROBLOSECURITY. Anyone who gets that cookie can use your account without your password and without 2-step verification — and trade every item away in minutes.

On many trading sites and Discord servers, traders send each other links to "meet in my private server". That habit is exactly what scammers use: the link looks like Roblox, but leads to a fake login page or a page that grabs the cookie. Other versions ask you to paste code into your browser console, or to download a "trading tool".

How the Trade Center prevents it

We give you the private server

When an offer is accepted, both traders get a private server from RBLXValue in their chat, shown as a Join server button. It is always an https://…roblox.com link — the system refuses any other. You never need a server link from the other person.

No links in trades, offers or reviews

Trade posts, offer notes and reviews cannot contain any link or domain name at all.

Chat: only roblox.com and rblxvalue.com

In the private trade chat, links are only allowed to roblox.com and rblxvalue.com (and their subdomains). Messages with any other link are blocked before they are sent.

Look-alike links are blocked too

The filter catches the usual tricks:

Moderation, reports and new-account limits

Text is checked by an automatic moderation system, every trade and chat has a Report button, and moderators can ban accounts. Roblox accounts must be at least 30 days old to trade, which keeps throwaway scam accounts out.

How a safe trade goes

Post a trade or send an offer on the Trade Center.
When an offer is accepted, a private chat opens with a Join server button from RBLXValue.
Both join that server and do the trade in Murder Mystery 2.
Both press Trade completed and leave a review.

Is the RBLXValue Trade Center safe?

Yes. Trade posts, offers and reviews cannot contain links at all. In the private trade chat only roblox.com and rblxvalue.com links are allowed, and fake look-alike domains are blocked. When an offer is accepted, both traders get a private server link that RBLXValue provides, so nobody has to click a link from a stranger.

What is a Roblox cookie logger?

A cookie logger is a fake page, file or script that steals your .ROBLOSECURITY cookie. With that cookie someone can use your Roblox account without your password and without 2-step verification, and trade away your items. They are often spread as "private server links", "value checkers" or "free Robux" links in trading chats.

Why does RBLXValue give us the private server link?

Because "join my private server" is the most common way cookie loggers are spread in MM2 trading. On RBLXValue the link to the server comes from RBLXValue, is always a real https:// roblox.com link, and appears as a Join button in the chat. You never need a server link from the other trader.

Can someone send me a link in the Trade Center chat?

Only links to roblox.com or rblxvalue.com (and their subdomains). Everything else is rejected before it is sent, including tricks like roblox.com.example.ru, [email protected], look-alike letters (rоblox with a Cyrillic o), punycode, IP addresses and javascript: links.

Does RBLXValue hold or transfer my items?

No. Trades happen inside Murder Mystery 2 on Roblox. RBLXValue only helps you find a trader, agree on a deal and meet in a private server. We never ask for your password, cookie or items.

What should I do if someone asks me to click a link or paste something?

Do not do it. Never paste code into your browser console, never install a "trading tool", and never log in on a page that is not roblox.com. Use the Report button in the trade or chat; moderators review reports and can ban the account.

Someone sent you a suspicious link?

Don't open it. Use Report in the trade or chat, or tell us on Discord.
